Lunch on Sunday. Great table overlooking Takapuna Beach. Service excellent. Asahi Beer served in 350 or larger frosted glass, lots of ice provided for our water and food served in a time that suited us, which was fast and efficient. Excellent décor, presentation and atmosphere. Well done team, just what Takapuna needs !

We've eaten here a half dozen times over the years this restaurant has been open; including the week it opened. I always regret eating here but with the passage of time I rationalise it can't have been too bad and I give it another go. Today's family meal was another regretted experience. We didn't get all of the food we... More

The restaurant offers a good selection of sides, meaty mains, noodles (cold & hot) and fresh sushi & sashimi. Price is always reasonable and offers a great lunch menu. It's often very busy, but the service is friendly and efficient. Have been dining there for years since it opened and has always been popular.

Visited the branch at Glenfield. A very busy restaurant with lots of customers. Crowded and seat was kinda packed. Though slighly pricy compare with other restaurant but is acceptable with the food.

My wife and I along with our 4 year old daughter dined at the Wairau restaurant - not Takapuna. the food was very well priced, and my Japanese wife thought she was at home - nice and authentic

It's hard not to compare restaurants when you eatout often. The food is pretty good and the service is efficient and friendly. We just felt it was a bit expensive compared to other Japanese restaurants in Auckland.

We like across the Auckland Bridge south of Auckland and every time we go over the shore, we try to have a feed at this great food place. Great service, food made to order, value for money. We love the dessert too!

The food is fairly standard Japanese, well prepared with average portions. A choice of sake and beer. Price was on the slightly high side for what it was but not outrageous. The staff are dressed in Japanese style.

If it's fine dining you want, or a quiet romantic evening, then don't come to Narita. But if you want a fun evening with family or friends that won't break the budget, then this place is great. The food is mainstream Japanese, with a choice of sake and Japanese beer; though on a busy night it might not all come... More
