Recommended by friends, we re-visited Asian Wok. The food quality has certainly improved and we would like to go back any time. Still I have my reservations about imported food from China, not all food may be fully cooked at premises?

Asian Wok is a Yum Cha Chinese Restaurant in Browns Nay Auckland New Zealand just a stones throw away from the beach and just across the road from the Park since I have started going there it has taken over the building next door giving it an extra 20 Tables. Food is really tasty with all your favourites like Chicken... More

We'd been meaning to visit this restaurant for a while as it always seemed to be well patronised by Asian clients. It has recently been expanded and now has 3 private dining areas as well as the main dining area. We were very pleased with the food which was tasty and well presented. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. The... More

This was our first visit and we are always cautious about Chinese eating because we don't know the language so are unsure what to order. The staff were helpful and we each ordered different dishes - mine was Char Kway Teow - a Malaysian dish that I have eaten in Asia and New Zealand. My wife's meal arrived well before... More

We have yum cha there regularly. There're a lot to choose from and you can order what you want. Each time we dine there, we're happy about the food and service. You need to book a table on weekends.

Sat down at 7.40pm took a while to order. Ordered both entree and main. Got entree and then saw no mains. Asked a girl where they were and waited another 15min with nothing said. 8.45 we decided enough and went to pay. Young girl was apologetic but the owner was somewhat obnoxious. Shame as the reviews are so good.

The food here couldn't be better, there are so many dishes to choose from. The prices are really cheap and cooked to your liking. If you want to to eat here at weekend make sure you book as it is always busy. I would always recommend here for Asian dishes.

Boiling hot dumplings served with piquant sauces in bamboo steamers. Six different combinations of prawn, shrimp, pork with coriander, spinach and vegetables. Servings of three or four less than $10. Clean restrooms and tanks full of crayfish and cod to watch while you dine.
