Slow, disinterested servers. Food is okay but not good or great. So many options no need to go here.

This is a family restaurant, but always top-rate quality Japanese cuisine. Japanese ownership provides authenticity decor and menu. The Japanese lady that manages this Kyoto Sushi always has provided myself and those accompanying me fruit desserts, complimentary, following our meals. We always leave full and satisfied. Visit monthly for past 12 years. Big bang for our bucks. Highly recommend.

The best Japanese food in Surrey west of 152nd Street. I have been here many times for business lunches and have never been disappointed.

Not bad, it could have better service, but I think the owner lady is a bit off. Anyway the food is not bad.

I use to go here weekly about 6 years ago when I worked in the area. The food and service were good. But the past few years the service has been declining to the point that I decided not to return. It has been at least 2 years since I've eaten here so I decided to give it another shot... More

We used to go to Kyoto Sushi on a regular basis, but while the food was exemplary, the service was always lacking. We feel strongly that this is more to do with the owner not providing enough staff or support, but it still reflects badly on the overall experience. So, we tried the place again a few weeks ago and... More

Our family like to dine in this restaurant every time when we are in town visiting. This is a small family run Japanese husband and Korean wife :). I do not have a passion for raw food but all members of my family love them, and every time we order, the cutting of raw fishes is very fresh also in... More

I took my husband to Kyoto for this birthday last week, with 5 other family members. We know good food takes time, and we were not rushed. It is run buy real Japanese. I ordered the teriyaki chicken Yakisoba and the Beef teriyaki rice dish. Both arrived sizzling on a personal sized cast iron frying pan YUM! I don't do... More

If you are willing to wait for unreasonable time then go. The server was cute but a little out of her element. The owner didn't help much. Not very well run. Having said that the prices were good and food tasty. They seem to have a big take out service business. Should have more people working. Plus ordered the "complete... More

Ate here for lunch. There were multiple bones in my salmon sushi. I have eaten sushi many times, over many years and never had bones. When mentioned to the owner/ manager the only response i got was " that happens". Wow. Won't eat here again.
