We'd been meaning to try Le Phan for a long time, and after eating there were sorry we hadn't tried it sooner. The food is uncomplicated, fresh, authentic, very tasty -- and the service is friendly. One thing -- we did request one of the dishes to be "mild" and it was still very hot (chilli hot!) so if you... More

Our family has been dining at Le Phan for many years and have enjoyed regular visits. Recently the restaurant has had a makeover and the menu a revamp . Dishes were authentic, tasty and carefully prepared on our last two visits. Vegetarian spring rolls and pork meatballs grilled on lemongrass skewers were delicious entrees. Grilled squid salad was light and... More

Dinner for three, service below par Food bland where are the fresh Vietnamese herbs - drooping mint atop of noodles for the oily Pho Sugar cane prawns - bits of indescribable dough that was evidently meant to be prawn but missed the mark The coconut rolls and ice cream sounded good but we did not order feeling it would be... My partner and I have had many great meals at Le Phan. It is a favourite! The food there is always authentic and tasty. Last Saturday night was busy but the service was still prompt and friendly. This is a good place to go for a casual meal, couples or a small group. I thoroughly recommend the Vietnamese pancake with... More

The family love Asian cuisine. This place is a good choice. Dining in not really an option as on the very low end of scale for in house dining. Take away is the go as the food is delicious. A take away option.

Pleasant and clean restaurant with very welcoming host and service. Meals were good value with good size portions and tasty dishes. Lots of vegetables in the dishes and meats were tender. Drinks were very reasonably priced, although the range is not vast. This is a good local restaurant for a good value meal. Was busy without being full and has... More

Le Phan is one of our family favourites. It is BYO for wine. Their Vietnamese salad is wonderful. We've never had a bad meal there.

There are very few Vietnamese along inner beach suburbs & no good ones, so really missing an opportunity. It is cheap but so are ingriedents. The owners who have been there for years really out to go to restaurant like Gusto in Hampton or even more locally, Sook Sabia, to see the difference in quality ingedients. Quality pieces of chicken... More

Great little suburban restaurant. Nothing pretentious here. Simple good Vietnamese food with friendly family service. Love the lemongrass chicken and satay beef. BYO best wine option.

family run restaurant. cheap to mid pricing, but great food and generous serves. menu is with variety and taste. Once was a tucked away secret to locals only, but its now well known in the southern suburbs. Great local, close to beach, busy beach road, on edge of shopping strip.
