I love the veggie omelette for breakfast with homemade bread, homemade muffins and homemade cinnamon buns and homemade local berry jams. Cannot beet it!

After the long early morning drive from Comox, there's nothing better than settling in for an awesome breakfast where the locals gather. Everything from bakery items to a full breakfast menu and beyond is available. A great place to sit, grab a coffee and enjoy the great food and atmosphere.

Reliable place for all-day breakfast on Saturdays. Eggs benedict, French toast and pancakes are all great here!

More for younger folk who do not mind dining on paper plates and cups. Walked here to see downtown which was about 2 blocks long and barely anything ope on Sunday. Disappointed.

I ate breakfast here and got the hungry fisherman to share. So much food, 2 people couldn't finish it. You get eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, toast, pancakes. And large sizes of all of it. And all of it was good. Everything had a good taste. The pancakes are large and 1 is enough for 1 person. Seemed to me the... More

Very average. Feels like a diner. Food was edible. You pay for food before you eat. It is very dated.

This is a diner style cafe. The food is not that well presented but honest and decent. The staff was a couple older lady's that were pleasant and offered some short conversation and a smile. The room appeared clean which is a big plus in port hardy. My only advise please move the smokers table further away from the door.... More

For a bakery, there wasn't much on display to buy. So my daughter and I had lunch instead the counter service was rude and very slow. Ordered two items, both were not available. So I suggest they should be erased off the chalk board. The girl didn't look interested. So we picked something else. When the food arrived it looked... More

Im sorry your experience was not the greatest. In the slower times (January especially),we limit the quantity and diversity of baked goods so to create less waste. The baked goods are made every morning, and sometimes by the end of the day we are out of things. We make almost everything from scratch,so sometimes the demand is more than expected. I got a take-out tea while visiting Port Hardy, and then we came back the next day as the staff for my take out were very friendly and the food looked good. The sandwiches are good, and huge. I think "huge" is a feature of restaurants in Port Hardy! Lots of locals eating here, which is encouraging.
