Very nice setting in what is the 'Old Albany Village' - food was very good and authentic; service was excellent and 'traditional' and the restaurant had nice ambiance and enjoyable background music - a very nice experience all round, Having eaten Thai many hundreds of times I rate Thai Rain Forest very highly and will be back.

This is a great restaurant with excellent service and pleasant decor. We shared a number of dishes with our friends and all were brilliant. The Larb is particularly to be recommended. We have been to this restaurant on a number of casinos when visiting our friends who live nearby and it has been consistently good. To be recommended. It is... More

I ordered a chick dish which should have been a lot more taste than I got. Pretty much like a stew made with soapy water, not nice. Fish cakes we like leather to eat, just rubbish.

My two daughters and I went to Thai Rain Forest on Father's Day for dinner. I'd heard good things, so wanted to try it. On arrival we were greeted by the hostess after a couple of minutes waiting in the foyer, and then seated. A young man came over with water and menus, but disappeared without greeting us, or talking... More

Have mostly got takeaways from here and haven't had a sit down meal in ages. Went with some friends for dinner last week as it was a central point and reminded myself why we usually go elsewhere. Staff are pleasant and i like the ambiance better than Thai Chef which is a bit ""over lit". But the meals were sub... More

Food was average and the service was alright. The waitress seemed to be new but was friendly :-) However I do prefer the Thai Chef Resteraunt around the corner as the lighting is much better. I ordered the swimming Rama which should have come with satay sauce. However I was disappointed with the minimal amount they put on the stir... More

As a person who enjoys Thai food, I found this experience didn't meet my expectations. The restaurant looks well set up and maybe a nice experience. I ordered a Take Away and wouldn't recommend it. The food was sitting in what seemed like heated water, not a thickened gravy, and it lacked the traditional Thai flavour and zing. Sorry folks,... More
