An excellent gastro pub. Separate dining and bar area adds to the atmosphere, superb food from a varied menu. Staff very accommodating and friendly dispite our late arrival. Thoroughly recommended.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and plentiful. I had lots of choices that were gluten free.

Excellent pub (booked a table in advance for bank holiday Sunday evening), warm welcome given by all staff. Excellent choice of Gins and draught beer. We had the Sunday roast (recommended by the owner of the B &B we were staying at)- excellent choice!!!

Was welcomed by Friendly staff and an inviting bar! There was a lovely outside seating area with heaters and canopy for that typical English weather. Overall was a lovely evening in a lovely pub! Will be back soon.

We took advantage of the last "Table Pouncer" booking so it was a 6.30 pm Friday meal. OK the negatives ... The bar area was crammed full and buzzing, separation to the restaurant area was minimal so if their was wallpaper music we wouldn't have heard it. They have now introduced a system whereby you need to insert your car registration into a machine by the bar or you could get fined, this is probably to stop people abusing their car park. We hadn't booked but they found us a table. It was quite busy but... More

My Dad and his brother didn't have a good relationship over 13 years but i came up with the idea to to travel to our family in Dorset from Staffordshire and see my Nan & family for New Year. After... The Goods Yard is a magnet for the locals (especially those heading for 'a certain age') in Broadstone, as its only competition is a Wetherspoon's. Perhaps it is a victim of its success. As it is within walking distance for me, we sometimes meet friends there for a drink at weekends. However, it gets very busy, so seats and tables... More
