Stumbled across L'Hostellerie d'Acquigny whilst trawling the Internet. So glad we did. Our room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities. Bottled Water in the room. Comfy bed. Information about the area. Free secure parking. Restaurant on site so we decided to try it and so pleased we did. Food and wine was amazing... More

Stayed overnight here in mid-June - not cold, but very pleasant to eat outside. So we did, on the very pretty terrace under a huge mulberry tree. The food was innovative, interesting and beautifully cooked - with immaculate and friendly service to match. As a restaurant, it gets five stars - no doubt at all. M Michelin, take note! The... Every now and again you come across something special and this establishment is one of them. I've been driving down through France to my house in the Midi Pyrenees for the last 10 years and tried everything from the mad dash (12 hours from Calais) to the leisurely 3/4 days but have always been trying to find something south of... We celebrated our son's communion. Everything was perfect: refined dishes with local and season products, very good wine and champagne/cocktail. The service is very nice. The "menu decouverte" - you don t know what you will have - is the best formula according to me.

We were recommended to the Hostellerie as accommodation, having no idea that it is best known for its restaurant. So it provided an excellent bonus to find such a good food on site. Friendly service, and we both enjoyed all three courses - unusual!

We used this hotel as a one night stop over as we were journeying further south. A wonderful welcome by the owner. Our room was well equiped with a large comfortable double bed and on-suite bathroom. Obviously popular with the locals as the restaurant was fully booked for the evening meal. They boast a Masterchef in the kitchen who lived... More

We were welcomed by the lovely owners and shown to our stylishly furnished room. Everything you could need was there. The evening meal was exceptional and the service was to a very high standard. The continental breakfast was lovely. Many thanks.

A packed restaurant - every table taken - great cooking and interesting menu. Why am I reluctant to review - it's tough enough to get a table without even more TripAdvisor subscribers booking the table I want!

We had two dinners in the restaurant when we stayed in the two rooms of the hostellerie. All the dishes were great, with many fresh ingredients. Not one plate was the same. We counted over twenty different vegetables on our table. It is a family place, but the service is professional. Menus start at 35 euros, -excellent - but the... More

This is the third time we have eaten here. It is so good, now we plan our journeys through France around stops here. The food is superb, clearly cooked by someone who knows about and loves food and eating. We ate from the menu de marche and the vegetarian menu. Everything we had was a pleasure with tastes that were... More
