Visited with some friends after work. Selection of food was good. The night we visited there was a number of items (7) that they had run out of. I had the veal escalope and although good, the sauce made the dish extremely salty. Other than that and the waitress not being able to calculate the bill. It was good nice... More

If there is one thing I dislike it's the mandatory application of a service charge that is described as discretionary. What is the place saying - we do not pay our staff, so you have to; our prices are 'artificially' cheap. Also, when it's different people who seat you; take your order; serve the drinks; deliver the food and clear... More

This is a great Italian restaurant and bar. We visited this on a Monday evening which you'd expect to be quite quiet but instead it was vibrant and buzzing. We ordered a pizza and pasta dish and both were extremely good. Although the drinks are quite expensive they are served expertly in glistening glasses. There is also a nice outdoor... More

We went to Bristol for the weekend and decided to eat at this restaurant as I'd eaten at the one in Nottingham previously. We had to book for 9pm as they were booked up until then which was fine by us. It was still very busy even at this time and whilst I like the food it is a very... More

Dropped in here for a Sunday afternoon cocktail on Rembrance Sunday. Has Italian feel about it. The mojito wasn't particularly nice, glass full of ice, although we finished it anyhow. For likely atmosphere, would return here again.

Food was expensive, very small portions and not at all good. Starter was cold, main course of chicken breast was tiny and the potatoes did not arrive until halfway through meal and then were hard and obviously had been reheated. Service was very slow, we had to ask them to bring the starters as we had been there for over... More

Loved the fact you could sit outside in the height of winter with lots of burners, cover from insects and soft cosy cushions on as seats that just surrounded you in a comfortable dining space! The food was great and hearty which for the money was well worth it! Moderate prices but I had the biggest bowl of spaghetti and... More

Food was very nice, but expensive for what you got, drinks were very expensive. Take a bigger wallet.

We weren't sure what kind of Italian food we would get in England, but this place surprised us in a very good way! The service was well paced and we never felt rushed. We were well looked after by all the wait staff and they were friendly and took care to make sure we were having a good time. The... More
