We went on a Tuesday evening. We found the place to have a nice atmosphere and we were warmly welcomed. There were plenty of things on the menu and as specials. I stuck to garlic bread and pizza. The service was very good and the pizza one of the best I have had. They were happy to make it as... More

The decor is tired, dated and cheap in a completely non-charming way. The food was OK, but I fell I could have made better spaghetti meatballs myself - they were VERY salty and I'm not sensitive to salt usually. The staff were alright but gave us our bill promptly and then totally forgot to come back and get payment, so... More

Visited here based on other reviews. Staff are all very friendly and know the menu really well. The food is fine (my starter was excellent) but the mains (Veal and Duck) lacked any distinct flavour or interest. The surroundings are a tad dated. Plastic table cloths, poor sound system, industrial glass wear but that said everything is delivered well and... More

Went last night. Food was lovely. Had pasta, pizza and starters. Nice wine (would have tried more but see below - didn't get the chance!) BUT once we had for our main we were left a long time with plates on the table. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks or offered dessert menus, coffee etc. Had to ask... More

After trying to call we left a message to book a table and we were quickly contacted when they had a spare moment. The restaurant is located a bit out of the centre on a main road, so it was a little bit of a walk from the shops on a freezing cold night. But the restaurant was nicely decorated... More

Came here straight after work on a Friday and had a lovely time. Attentive and friendly staff, prompt service and tasty food for a reasonable price. Atmosphere was nice and quaint too.

The 2 of us ate from the special lunchtime menu (though many of the dishes also feature on the a la carte). Economical and excellent fare, good service, very drinkable wine - what more could you ask for? In truth the decor is a little tired but in respect of the food we had no complaints whatsoever.

This restaurant has a really traditional feel to it, with the checked tablecloths and old chairs (which aren't very comfy, but fine for a few hours). It's opposite Temple Meads station, so not the most central of restaurants but definitely worth the travel. The food was lovely, olives were lovely marinated in garlic and herbs and the pasta was very... More

I had this restaurant recommended by the receptionist at holiday inn express just 70 yards away on the same side of the busy road into central Bristol. It's opposite temple meads railway station so handy if you are over nighting and traveling on by train. The decor is modern and clean( not a chianti bottle lamp in site) and the... More

I visited here on a Monday late evening with 3 colleagues, aa we were staying in a hotel nearby. It was surprisingly busy as there was a 50th birthday party on. Second visit as came earlier in the year. We were sat on the right hand side of the restaurant which as not as pleasant as the other side but... More
