Very disappointed to find out that the menu now only consists of pies or panninis, so left without eating. It used to be a lovely place for lunch, but not any longer.

This place has been beautifully renovated...lots of cosy sofas and spots in the windows. It looked (and smelt) very festive thanks to the fairy lights and cauldron of mulled wine! Very friendly staff and lovely G&Ts! Would definitely go back.

I reported earlier that I thought this bar had closed but it seems to have had a facelift with wall boarding that at a quick passing look makes it appear to be boarded up! But it's still open and serving good food and ales.

I was away with work and wanted something nice and simple. A good pizza (a bit to much cheese) but good veg and meat. Lovely feeling in the place and great service from the team. The beer offering was great and the wine list while small was well put together. Whenever I see Gerald Bertrand on a list I know... More

It is difficult to overstate how great the Colstons Yard staff are. We're by no means regulars, but we have been on several occasions recently, and each time I have met different people, and the only thing they have in common is that they will do their utmost to help. In addition it's a good looking pub - nice decor... More

When you havent seen your pal for two years, you want somewhere comfortable to sit and natter over a pot of tea, and we chose the Colston Yard. This pub becomes very lively when people come here after work, but we found a quiet corner (in the window) with comfortable chairs and shared a decent brew while we caught up... More

This place seems to have changed quite a bit over the last year. It now has a small menu of mostly bar food but it has a spectacular selection of craft beers. I stopped in for Fish and Chips which were well done and had a couple of very unique beers that were good.
