Very comfortable and welcoming pub tea room and restaurant, stopped off for tea with fresh scones with cream etc Quaint set up with antique china pot and cups, friendly staff and pleasant and all needs catered for. 👌

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am disappointed to read your comments as it is a rare occurrence to receive a complaint about our food or our staff. When serving your table my team were treated aggressively and disrespectfully to...More

Four of us met for a bite and a chat.. The food, and service were OK - nothing stood out. Wish when bubble and squeek was advertised it was home made rather a defrosted circular potato type cake.More

Like this place, with good food at a reasonable price, with a very personable waitress ( waitron being PC!) We both had whitebait, my wife had the fish pie, and I the fish and chips - no faults Hope to return soon.

Quite recently under new management. Standards have been maintained if not improved. Cosy small bar area for pre-dinner drinks is a pleasant bonus. We consumed some oysters, sole and sea bream which were all first class.
