Fabulous lunch. Good service and friendly staff. Varied menu and places to sit. Centre of town not far from Ely Cathedral. Dog friendly too.

I looked for somewhere to eat while visiting and most places in Ely seem to be much of a muchness! (with the exception of the Old Fire Station!) and we just wanted a light lunch. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean, bright and well decorated. The menu choices were standard, reliable and nothing too exciting. Our lunch was... More

Stayed one night only. Room was good, the shower was excellent. Wifi was just ok. I was disappointed that my cooked breakfast took 30 minutes to arrive and when it did, it had been just fired onto a plate, but tasted fine. I didn't have an evening meal.

We booked this restaurant because we were going to a concert in the cathedral, just a few metres away. The food and service were good. Hot plates made for hot food and the meal for three was reasonably priced.

Excellent evening meals in dog friendly bar. Wonderful steak, perfectly cooked with lots of freshly cooked chips and salad, Hunters chicken also delicious. Staff could not be more helpful even bringing bowl of water for dog.

We were visiting family in early and booked this hotel as family work there and it is a nice central location. The check-in was easy and bedroom recently decorated, so very clean. Bathroom was clean and also newly decorated, but unfortunately the shower was poor. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10. We arrived at 8.50, dining room was packed!... More

Ive stayed here on my last business trip, so thought I'd give it another go. The rooms in the hotel look like they could do with being updated, especially the bathrooms which look like a throw back to the 70's. However, the food is really good, the ambiance in the bar area is good and vibrant at times.

My wife and I like to stop in from time to time, especially for the 2 Proseco Fizz Fridays :-). We usually have a meal while there and always find the food to be excellent. I also like the "homey" and relaxed atmosphere. We also find the staff to be friendly and the prices to be very reasonable. Highly recommended!

lived in the area for years, but never really been in since 1985 when I had a interview for a local job in one of the side rooms. So what better to go for a pint on a Friday night, or better still a shot of tequila...... BUT they did not have any tequila at all.... "what is this we"... More
