I've been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely lovely and the cocktails are lush! Staff are always helpful and friendly and it's clean. Book to avoid having to sit outside or wait a long time.

An enjoyable breakfast but over done bacon detracted from a tasty pancake stack. The service was prompt and friendly with a bowl of water provided for the dog inside when we were forced inside by the rain. Expensive though for what it was.

Called in this morning for breakfast and opted for the full English It was of good quality but for £12 with a pot of tea for one it's ridiculously over priced. 1 slice of bacon 1 sausage 1 mushroom 1 tomato 1 egg few fried...More

Called in with friends for a coffee whilst on a short stop over on a coach tour. The menu looked good, although we did not eat. Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a visit.

We went to hickorys early evening. Had the platter for 2. Exceptional value for money and the produce was quality; cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely with our daughter, giving her a balloon and making her feel special. A great experience again.

Hard to get a booking but I'm not sure why as although the food is good enough, it's not spectacular. Well trained staff who are friendly. As you'd expect from a steakhouse, there are plenty of meat choices. Had the platter which gave me a...More

Great food and fun, kinetic atmosphere with plenty of seating options including outdoor dining. Music is all American and they even list the potatoes as "fries" instead of "chips." The roasted meats were tender and the service was fast and friendly. We had a great...More

Was a little bit disappointed and surprised they did not have any American beer on tap given that it is supposed to be an authentic American diner. Steak was cooked to perfection and chillie cheese fries were hot, hot hot. Service was top notch and...More

Hi, we were told on the phone they were fully booked, but she also said they do walk ins, so we took the chance and walked up to to it, very friendly and they sat us at the bar for no more than 10 minutes before we got a... More

Hickory’s Smokehouse is Chester’s authentic American BBQ. Here you can enjoy a traditional style of cooking that has its roots in the US, but that we think deserves to be just as popular over here.
Our menu offers two styles of BBQ. The southern-style ‘Smoker’ BBQ uses slow, wood-fired cooking in our specially imported American smoker oven. The northern-style ‘Yankee’ BBQ is cooked over sizzling hot coals. Both styles create unbelievably tender, delicious meat and fish.
