Went into this pub 45 years ago and thought I would give it another try. Food, service and ambience was excellent. Good selection of beers and food at a very reasonable price.

Same old pub, never changes. The fan was to loud for the girl though, I asked for two packets of nuts and got two packets of crisps!!

Called in here today (7th Nov) on a visit to Chester to go Christmas shopping, and to meet up with our daughter who attends Chester University. Arrived around 1.00pm and managed to find a vacant table. Very busy at this time. Good selection of beers which my husband was grateful for. We all chose the homemade beef and ale pie,... More

Visited weekday lunchtime where it was ticking over but not madly busy. Had lovely fresh sandwiches with loads filling and shared side order of fries. All quickly served and delicious and a good price. Historic pub in centre of Chester is so much nicer than a chain coffee shop I feel.

Nice, busy little pub with an easy atmosphere. Good beer selection. Have only ordered a small starter to eat, the samosas, quite good and reasonably priced. Nice little spot for a pint.

Good value food that is tasty and well presented. The range of bees is good, and they even have their own brew - The Victoria. The staff are friendly and provide a first class service.

No trip to Chester would be complete without a visit to The Victoria Pub as it's such a cool pub to drop into. The pub is located in the Chester Rows and is so nice with an all dark wood interior with nice furnishings and great decor,it really is one superb pub, there is also an interesting passageway leading from St... Just arrived in Chester on Bank Holiday Monday. After walking the walls and exploring the city centre we were in need of refreshments. Decided to go to The Victoria. Lovely couple of pints and a very enjoyable Shepherd's pie.

Thank David B
