What a lovely little place Lusty Glaze restaurant is! We had drinks one evening (a cosy log burner session with fantastic live music) and came back for breakfast the next two days. Everybody was friendly and kind, and the food was perfect. Add that to the stunning beach views and you're on to a winner! Loved it here <3 thank... More

We stayed in The Cottage, one of the 2 beach-side appartments. It was really well equipped, generous on space, stylishly decorated and cosy even in January. A living room and a main bedroom with panoramic views of the beach (which is 2 feet away!). Big kitchen/diner, decent bathroom and a second bedroom at the back. In some ways that bedroom... More

The kids love it when we say we are going to Lusty Glaze beach as they know they will be going for hot chocolates and I'm always as excited as the are! So many choices of hot chocolates. Service is so friendly, always made to feel welcome.

We visited Lusty Glaze on Sunday, what a setting! We had a walk on the beach before our meal which was absolutely stunning: well cooked meat, delicious meaty gravy, home made Yorkshire pudding and fresh mostly seasonal veg! Great stuff, the restaurant itself has a lovely chilled out vibe and is beautifully decorated, we will definitely be returning.... bonus being... More

I'm not usually someone to write reviews, but after the fabulous Sunday roast my wife and I just had at lusty glaze I felt compelled to write something. The atmosphere is perfectly for a lazy Sunday with the log burners lit, so nice and warm. But the main point is the food.. the beef was tender and delicious.. home made... More

To get to the restaurant you have to walk 133 steps down a steep cliff. The car park for the restaurant is a pay and display. Food was lovely but overpriced for what it is. Paid £23 for my medium sized surf and turf. Toilets were outside so a pain to get to when it's raining. So overated. Went to... More

Had been a little worried about eating here as the photos on their website don't actually do it justice. And staying at Pentire meant it was the other side of Newquay for us. However A short taxi ride for £5! And we were there. Incredible location and beautiful inside. The food was outstanding and with the wood burner roaring and... More

Could not be faulted. Truly spectacular from start to finish . The staff were fantastic, so helpful and friendly . Great food followed by a lovely walk on the beach.

Lusty Glaze Tripadvisor Beautiful brunches, leisurely lunches, cosy coffees and seaside suppers... Lusty Glaze Beach Restaurant is nestled just a short walk from the centre of Newquay, on the North Cornish coast. Come rain or shine Lusty Glaze serves up freshly cooked and locally-sourced culinary delights in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With a beautiful menu specially created for each season, as well as some rather tasty specials and the ever popular Hot Rocks, this beachfront dinning experience is not to be missed. On a warm evening, it's easy to forget you're still in Cornwall! As well as hosting weddings and our legendary Headliner Sessions, we also hold a free live music evenings featuring some of our favourite local artists. Spanning a range of different genres, these nights are always special, as everyone relaxes and unwinds, glass of wine in hand, soaking up the atmosphere. And even with a focus on top-notch food, it is still very likely that your chairs won't match, your spoon and fork may be different patterns and your waiter will be wearing flip flops... after all, we are still the laid back family-friendly restaurant that we always have been!
