I would seriously recommend this restaurant. Very good service, food choice, value for money and location. It was very quiet for a Sunday night but the background music really helped with the ambience. The bill for 2 people came to under £100 with drinks, starter main and dessert - very good value for money.

We found this restaurant by accident and we are so glad we did. They have only been open a few months but they are pulling out all the stops. Partners birthday meal was made even more special by the delicious food, fresh fish of the day perfectly cooked, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff and owners. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough and I wish them every success

Visited here with friends on Friday and was really impressed with the food and service.
Food : Really impressed with how they are trying to tackle food wasting in the restaurant industry. All good was fresh and sourced locally and they’ve made a big point to show its sustainable food. My 2 vegetarian friends loved being able to see different items on the menu rather than the standard norms.
I had the crab & lobster linguine and Ice cream topped with raw honey comb
Wine Menu was fantastic and we will have to return so we can continue making our way through it.
Atmosphere and decor was lovely. Nice simple layout with artwork of local areas. Nice light and fresh feel.
Staff were polite and really helpful and recommending their favourites and adding a personal touch
Will be eating here again as need to try out more menu favourites

Had heard excellent reviews about this place so we were really excited about trying it out. I always expect food which is better than you can cook yourself at home, sadly, this was not it. There was nothing wrong with the food, all good ingredients, presented well but missing the mark on flavour, don’t get me wrong it was definitely edible but didn’t tip the scales to very good or exceptional.
The service was good, lovely waitresses however we do hate to see gratuity added to a bill, we’re usually good tippers but had our noses put out of joint by this.
The space is small but clean and well decorated, it did feel a little clinical though, can’t put my finger on why it felt like that but I’m sure a couple of tweaks would lend it more atmosphere.
Will I go back? I would definitely give it another go, Chefs often have ‘off nights’ and, based on the reviews, I’m guessing this was one of them. Our visit was a little over a month ago so I’m guessing any teething problems would be resolved by now.

Hello there,
Thank you for your review. We are very newly opened so are still doing finishing touches to the restaurant. You were quite right we did have an off day a few weeks ago, as the chef unexpectedly had some bad news. This left us short staffed at very short notice and there were a few hiccups.
Regarding staff tips, we decided to put an optional gratuity on bills, as stated on the menu, as due to COVID most people pay by card and this we feel is more hygienic than cash.I hope when you come back you will see us at our best and hope to improve your experience.

For a restaurant that highlights its use of local suppliers we were very unimpressed with the offering.
Meagre portions of locally sourced fish. Scallop starter was 3 small scallops at £3 a piece. Sea bass special at £28 was o esmall filled half the size of the accompanying potato plus 2 asparagus tips Mussels main was accompanied by two small pieces of so called artisan bread and the portion size of mussels was about half that offered by Roux Waterside for similar price.
No finger bowl was offered and a bowl had to be requested to put the mussel shells in. We had to obtain our own menus from the box as the senior waitress showed little attention to us despite having booked a table
A comment about the meagre portions evoked no response and the bill included the standard service e charge!

Hello lovely people thank you for your review.. we value them all . Please could you be so kind and let us know the date of your visit. Although this is no argument we would like to say in the past few days we have been extremely short staffed which is soon to be reconciled . We also have been incredibly busy unexpectedly. As to the sea bass sadly it has to be expensive as it is ethical not farmed and that is our ethos . Our lemon sole dish you could have had at £10 cheaper if you are on a budget. So sorry again we hate to disappoint anyone

Finally went for a meal at Cork and Folk, in Penzance, and so glad we did.
The ambience was relaxing and the service was excellent. As for the food, unbelievably good. We started with nibbles then I had scallop starter and then the catch of the day for mains whilst my wife had the pork belly starter followed by the crab and lobster linguini and we were both very impressed.
Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants great food and a nice relaxing time.

We have been following Cork and Fork online for a while now but have not had the opportunity to try it for ourselves. Tonight was the night! We were very grateful to have been fitted in as a late booking on the day and have enjoyed a really wonderful meal.
The service was friendly and super efficient throughout and we were made to feel very welcome which is always appreciated!
I had the belly pork starter, steak and mousse and my husband enjoyed the scallops, chicken and honeycomb ice cream, all with some well matched wines.
What a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening: good company, delicious food, relaxed environment and nice wine. Definitely recommended and thank you to the Cork and Fork team!

We visited a few days ago on a very rainy night, inside was warm and cosy and the welcome was lovely, we were shown to a table by the window ( we had booked) and given our food and drink menus plus a chilled bottle of tap water. We chose the home made mackerel pate and the prawns ( very generous portion) to start , then we both had the crab and lobster linguine- absolutely yummy and plenty of crab and lobster. We had a very good Shiraz to go with it, but couldn’t fit in any dessert ! From the outside this place looks unassuming and you may pass it by - DON’T ! it’s well worth a visit.

Had a fantastic meal here last night with a group of friends. Service was excellent, friendly staff and great atmosphere. I had scallops and linguine which had so much flavour, but the star of the show was my friends cheeseboard which looked insane!
Will definitely be back again :)

Was a lovely restaurant. Delicious food, honestly everything we had was just amazing. My partner had the vegan risotto and they even offered a vegan alternative to the extra parmesan topping. Nice to see it, very easy to just have omitted the extra and said it doesn’t come with it for the vegan option. Portion sizes were good and allowed you to easily try/taste the starters or have a dessert after without feeling stuffed.
The decor was quite sweet, in particular the little heart candles at every table. Makes it a perfect place for a couple.
Have to say, very kind service and were understanding with our requests.

Great little bistro, great service & food. Scallops & mackerel pate excellent, chicken & steak for mains really tasty with plenty of veg in separate bowl. Ice cream with local honey a special touch & chocolate mousse was nice too. Do add service charge to bill but at least this was normal 10% rather than rip your pants off 12% that we’ve experienced in other places.

Very friendly restaurant with great food right by the train station and bus station. Had a great meal here - beetroot and goats cheese for starter was excellent with a parsley oil dressing. The seafood platter was generous and nicely presented with lobster, crab, prawns, clams, mussels and razor clams. All served with tarragon oil, aioli and a sweet chilli dressing. Finished with a chocolate mousse with raspberries. Waiting staff and cooking staff all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

First class restaurant serving locally sourced produce, we received a warm welcome from a very well informed staff who understood the menu being offered. I had the crab & lobster linguine which was fantastic followed by the Affogato which was sublime. If your in Penzance book a table you will not be disappointed. Throughly recommended this restaurant

Located near the railway station and harbour, also close to the town centre, a small and intimate restaurant with a very interesting food menu, showcasing local and responsibly sourced ingredients. The wine list is from very well chosen European wines, and compliments the food perfectly.
Our food was immaculately presented, perfectly cooked and delicious, with very well judged flavour combinations. Service is first class in all respects. Whilst this is not an inexpensive restaurant, we felt our experience was very good value, and have already booked a return visit.

Reserved the table for 20:30. Arrived around 20 mins early. One the staff stated they were busy they could seat us but we may have to order at 20:30 which was absolutely fine. They were very busy and were short staffed. The one thing I really took note of was that the staff really cared about what they were doing and kept us informed regarding how long the food would be etc. Which to be honest wasn’t overly late wouldn’t say it was fast but seeing as they already mentioned it may take longer than usual I believe it was good! Then we come to the food which was sublime my partner had mushroom linguine which was fantastic and I had the steak babe yet. Which was again very very good. I will come back here. Very authentic and fantastic staff and food. This
