A truly wonderful experience. Had the tasting meal with wine pairing. I have dined all over the world in some of the very best restaurants. I spent 40 years in the hotel business in Asia-United States-Europe.This ranks easily at the very top of any meal In have had anywhere. Food simply amazing, great wines and outstanding service. If I left this... More

Without doubt the best fish restaurant you will find. The tasting menu included monkfish, crab, lobster, gurnard and turbot. Follow these with a cheese course and two delightful sweets - heaven. Take the wine flight and enjoy an expert choice of wine to suit each course, truly fantastic. Great service, spectacular food and the views over the bay just makes sure... More

So, two Michelin stars and a magnificent location - albeit overlooking a car park if you're close to the window - so you'd expect something pretty decent coming out of the kitchen. Only eaten here once, for a leisurely, unhurried lunch with the matching "wine flight". Service was great and unobtrusive. Each course was individual, quite simple and beautifully presented.... I had the pleasure of eating at the original Nathan Outlaw restaurant in Rock so i was looking forward to this meal hugely. I have eaten at many one star and two star restaurants (no three... yet) and i can honestly say that Nathan Outlaw's dining experience is the finest of them all. I have a love of seafood anyway,... Expensive but worth every morsel...the attention to detail in this wonderful tasting menu of fish is incredible. The balance of dishes really worked from cured monkfish, chilli & smoked lobster to cheese tart and two totally contrasting desserts. The high lights for me were the two dishes in the middle : Gurnard in Porthilly sauce (the sauce is out of... More

Came here on the recommendation of various friends and internet reviews, the location and view of the restaurant certainly did not disappoint. With that comes with creative and delicious dishes - best of which was the gurnard and porthilly sauce! Would recommend the lunch menu if you don't want to be spending too much.

We had heard great things about Nathan Outlaw's two star restaurant and the reality was even better. Every aspect of the experience was wonderful, from the welcome at the door right through to the coffee at the end. The full tasting menu was outstanding, with one dish, the gurnard with Porthilly sauce, one of the best I've tasted. Yes it's... More

This is the second time we have eaten at a Nathan Outlaw restaurant , the first time was 4 years ago but in Rock . We was worried that it wouldn't live up to our memories of that visit but to be honest it surpassed it . The food was exquisite, the service and staff was exceptional and location was... More

We recently dined at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw as part of a birthday visit to Cornwall. The meal and view from our table were both stunning. You do truly get what you pay for and in this case it was exceptional service and exquisite food. Meeting Nathan at the end of the meal to have a chat was a fine end... More

My wife loves fish and seafood. I don't. But for her birthday I bit the bullet and prepared myself for a very expensive couple of hours of smiling falsely and pretending to enjoy the food...not so. Every morsel I put in my mouth was simply delicious (apart from one dish that was simply a step too far for me) and... More
