I visit St Ives at least once a year on holiday and always make a point to pop into the Lifeboat for a pint or two. Friendly staff, excellent beers and tasty food. What's not to like? Give it a go!

We sat here watching the world go by having a nice cold beer, the staff are very pleasant, the food is very good and the portions are very big. My husband and I shared the chicken scewers and a portion of cheesey chips, it was more than enough for a lunch.

A visit to St Ives on a Sunday means you have to have a roast at the Lifeboat. Used this every time we come down west and have to say never been disappointed.

We will always be fans of The Lifeboat when visiting St Ives, however this time it felt as though it had lost the Cornish charm a little. Sport seems to be shown on screens all the time now. We still love it though; great views, good service and a comfortable pub.

Great location. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Slightly better than average pub food. Easy going atmosphere. There are however several large screens showing sport. - you may or may not like that

On a bright but bitterly cold day, dropping into The Lifeboat Inn was indeed shelter from a storm. Mena Dhu Stout & HSD were accompanied by the most delicious Haddock Chowder & Scampi & Chips, all served cheerfully. by Samantha. We sat in front of the blazing fire watching passers -by being blown past the window, feeling very content!

A real lovely homely feel. Good beers, roaring fire and a nice selection of food to choose from. Well worth just popping in and sampling

We asked for sandwiches but they were so large we didn't know where to start. I had half a breast of chicken in my BLT. It puts you off.

Great service whenever you visut, nothing is too much trouble despite how busy this pub gets. Sunday Carvery is a must when in St Ives, nothing beats what they serve here...

We have visited this pub for food on many occasions. During our last visit we were shown to a table that was directly under speakers, unfortunately it was very noisy with live football on multi screens all around the pub. The food was expensive for the size of some of the meals. Disappointing visit
