Welcoming reception, nice 'alcove' table, relaxing atmosphere, quick service, and very good food. What's not to like?
The Mermaid is one of our regular bisits. It's good food in traditional surroundings. They serve great fish and chips as well as other dishes. The staff is amiable. Relaxing atmosphere and pleasant restaurant. We have never been disappointed yet. Definitely worth a pit stop.
