Fantastic bakery. Their Cornish pasties are delicious and their squares amazing. Friendly staff who actually delivered to hotel so we could take their pasties home with us. Excellent bakery

Friendly staff.Worth the wait-due to the demand, piping hot, lovely pastry, plentiful, tasty filling, accompanied with a mug of tea, whilst enjoying the wonderful view. Chocolate cake that we had as take-away was also yummy.

Atmosphere was zero as the person serving was more interested in talking with her friends than serving a customer. This was supposed to be the "bees knees" for Cornish Pasties but their product was only average and I definitely experienced better pasties elsewhere in Cornwall...More

Stayed in St Mawes and called into this little shop a few times. The staff even opened up early when we wanted to call in early before a morning walk. Great pasties.

As a born & bred Cornish person, I absolutely love this little no frills bakery. The lovely lady serving is so friendly & serves with a local flare & accent! Part & parcel of visiting St Mawes. The scones, saffron buns & other local goodies...More

Fab bakery with scones to die for and great pastries. Only problem is they sell out fast so get there early. They do need more selection for vegetarians as very limited.

I really cannot understand these places that don’t supply to demand. The Pasties here are lovely but our preference is chicken or veg. St Mawes bakery only does traditional or cheese & veg as we don’t eat beef & we have have been here on...More

This has to be THE worst pasty I have ever tasted. Bland pastry, bland mushy vegetables inside and inconsistent seasoning - in fact all the seasoning in my pasty was delivered in one mouthful. I returned thinking my first impression must have been wrong given...More

Description
St Mawes bakery is a local family owned business. It has been running for over 100 years now. We take pride in our freshly baked and made products including our delicious traditional pasties which are made to a recipe as old as we are. We pride ourselves that we make, bake and serve our products on the same day which are made in St Mawes itself (less than 200 m from our shop).
