We stood & waited around 10 minutes for a table on Easter Sunday around 1pm, once seated we had several drinks & some sandwiches & sat out enjoying the sun, got chatting to some people we were sat next to, very enjoyable afternoon, no complaints about the food or the service! Would come here again.

We popped in for something to eat. Very friendly and busy, but it was easter weekend. Food was nice and reasonably priced. Wifi is also available.

Had burger and mint & pea risotto. The burger was generous size, Berry crumble did not have much topping on it. Easy access point. Would go again as on the whole it was what you would expect.

Crowed pub at lunch time, I suppose with the Castle closed everyone stayed in the pub longer as nothing else to do!

popped in for lunch, the wife ordered Scampi, I had the fish and chips, friendly service, bit of a long wait for the meal..35 minutes, chips were cold, but the fish was lovely, as was the homemade tartar sauce, if it was not for the cold chips and bit of a wait it would have got a 5 !

Living in Cornwall we have some good eating places and some not so good and some change like our weather, this pub is just like that. We went to The Rising Sun St Mawes last July, we took my classic car for a run and landed up at this pub, the food was spot on I always said one of... More
