Have been here several time with friends, family or my partner and has been excellent every time. Most recent experience was celebrating a 21st birthday with 7 other friends. Service was great with our waiter being very friendly and helpful. Time in between meals was a tiny bit slow but can understand as there was a lot of us yet... More

We popped into here on Saturday 8th December @ 7.00pm on the recommendation of colleagues prior to the Annual Steampunk Ball at the Phoenix Centre nearby. We hadn't booked as we were visitors to Exeter. We took a chance as we only wanted a quick pizza and drink. At first it was a no, too busy, but then a maybe... More

Booked a table in advance but as party season could only have 6.15pm, but that was ok. Had a rustic pizza and mushroom risotto and both were lovely. My partner loved the pizza which was huge, but we knew that after visiting a zizzi a few years ago, he lived the chilli jam and knowledge of the waiter giving advise... More

Having used the Happy Cow app to try to find somewhere different to eat in Exeter, we bit the bullet and stepped inside. Straight away we were welcomed and the vegan menu produced and we were able to take our choice of seating. There were sufficient choices for us and both chose a different option so that we could try... More

Being the first family into the restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime at 12 o'clock you don't expect to be told that the reason our meal took over 2.5hrs was because they were busy! At no point were there any apologies for the long gaps between starters/mains or desserts. We should have read previous reviews before deciding upon this particular branch... More

As a family we have visited this restaurant on several occasions and had always previously received great service. However on this recent visit the poor service and lack of attentive spoilt our whole dining experience which was mediocre at best. I subsequently will not return or recommend.

I visited this restaurant as part of a group visit to catch up with old friends. The food and service were superb and the place was very tastefully decorated. I really enjoyed the experience and wouldn't hesitate to return (if I were to visit Exeter again). I would also happily recommend it to friends and family. Very well done!

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my Son's birthday . My wife and I ordered pulled beef and venison pasta. When it finally came neither my wife or I could find any meat only some sort of sauce with a mushroom quarterd and shared between us. To acknowledge they did give a full refund on both our meals,BUT it spoilt... More

We had a 'Little soul bread' starter to share. Described as 'doughy puffs', doughy they most certainly were, puffs they were not. Chewy and a little unpleasant. Wife had spag bol. Shes had it before and this time she remarked that it lacked flavour. I had Casareccia Pollo Piccante and it was quite nice I suppose, although, the Pollo was... More

Lovely airy and spacious restaurant. Had reserved a table but turned up early and were seated straight away. Very attentive waiter...albeit a little over attentive at times but put that down to the fact the restaurant wasn't busy as it was early evening and he was only dealing with three small tables. Were given a jug of water without having... More
