I like the atmosphere in here and have been coming here for years. Good breakfast options and cakes, especially for vegan and vegetarians. Although sometimes a bit pretentious and pricey for what actually arrives on your plate

Been a few times, smoothies and drinks all lovely and tastey, healthy food. Love the interior and style especially upstairs in a sunny day :) can take a while when it's busier but that's just to be expected

With just 3 people infront of me I waited nearly 15 minutes to get my coffee. The girl on the till could not work out a Boston Tea Party gift card so everyone behind the counter stopped to get involved, no luck for the gift card lady, had to pay cash. This is not the first time I have had... More

Hi John, Thank you for the feedback, i'm really sorry this all took so long too get sorted, only managers and supervisor's are trained on putting money onto a gift card, so that may be why a there was a little wait on it getting sorted. Please pop in and ask for Emma, i'll be more than happy too sort... More

I went here last week for breakfast. My impression was not cheap but fairly nasty. The best first. I had a bacon and egg roll which was quite nice. Tasty nice roll with plenty of lean bacon and a well cooked egg. Now the bad. The place is a bit of a dump. You go upstairs to eat so it's... More

Hi there, I'm really sorry your experience with us wasn't what you were hoping for. Once gain, my compliments to your Chef! The sweetcorn hash with haloumi was perfect and my friend really enjoyed his Persian Lentil Soup. On the housekeeping side- your table numbering is now so much better, the general cleanliness has improved , even the toilets are better (i was moaning about all this before!). Well done and see you soon.

Thank you soooo much for the perfect review!! I'm so happy we have reached your expectations as a company, this is probably one of the best parts of my job, making customers happy with the products we sell for one, but listening too what they have too say is much more important, then doing something about it especially if it's... Disappointing eggs royal. The food looked great, but it took ages and then was cold (cold eggs, cold toast, cold sauce). For the record a cold poached egg tastes like mucous. My partner's food arrived 10 minutes after mine, and his was warm, but not exactly hot. Staff were friendly, but rushed off their feet. Hire more staff and I... More

Called in on the recommendation of a friend. Not disappointed, very reasonable cakes and sandwiches and the coffee was great. Staff very friendly and service very prompt. Great mixture of people using the establishment from students to the elderly. Beats any of the big chains.

We went for an early breakfast here last Sunday (the hotel charge never included breakfast, they wanted an additional fee of £15.95 per person, which I thought was too steep) and I so glad that we did, the breakfast was delicious! Staff are helpful and friendly and there is a huge seating area upstairs. The breakfast consisted of bacon, sausage,... More
