Chilled environment, no hassle, quality food, great wine, the Fowey mussels, lived up to their reputation. Great experience in all.

Recommend by friends who live in Lynton as somewhere we had to go to, they were not let down. Welcoming and relaxed all night. Exceptional food served by friendly and professional staff. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in a...long time. A table for four, three of us had the sirloin steak with the other having the hake. All dishes were presented wonderfully with the right about of sides. Delicious is all I will say. Full, we did go for just two desserts, equally as fab. I would recommend this venue to all and will be back next year when returning to the area.More

Eat here the last Friday evening in October. The calamari/squid was amazing as was rest of the meal for us both. Great service as well.

This restaurant could quite easily be at the top of London's fine dining lists, it really is that good if it wasn't for the fact its in Lynton :) We had some great food, wine and the staff are very professional, they have that knack...of being there when you need them but not seeing them most of the time, they all seem to work very well together and nothing was ever forgotten or missed. The food was superbly cooked, great portions and very reasonably priced, we had a great wine recommendation which again was superb and well priced. We stayed in Lynton for a week and tried a different place every night, all restaurantes were great, but this was a cut above the rest.More

Wow,! Just Wow! We had read the reviews so expected it to be good but none the less we were blown away by the quality of the food. The service was also great. So glad we had booked in advance. Now we wish we had...booked it for every night of our stay in Lynton.More

Was recommended to visit here for lunch. OMG what a superb restaurant Menu is not vast, but the food was excellent. We were a table of 7 with children. We had steaks, burgers, king prawns, side salads. Everything was fantastic. We will be back. Book...in advance as they get booked up. Thank you.More

A great little find today for lunch. Really stylish little bistro with amazing food and drink. Very welcoming for the party which included 3 kids and 2 dogs. Menu was quirky and food amazing. Also a good selection of wines and beers. The team were...very friendly and the value was great. The atmosphere for a lunchtime was good. We will definitely visit this bistro again when we visit Lynton. I would wholeheartedly recommend.More

Nice venue, friendly staff. Enjoyed olives and hummus to start followed by steak served with delicious fries and salad. Nice bottle of Shiraz. Food well presented and tasty. Not an extensive menu but enough choice and all looked lovely.

A small and welcoming restaurant with absolute top-line food. Young owner and chef have created something special here. I think booking is probably essential as it was busy - this was an October visit after the main tourist season was calming down.
