A Gem which never fails (except when you haven't booked!). Gorgeous food and lovely atmosphere. Extensive menu and in a lovely position in a quaint village.

With one minor negative we had a very enjoyable experience at the Clovelly Bay Inn. The pub has a good feel to it and the welcome was also good. The menu and specials looked both interesting and extensive but the Roast got the vote. A good manly portion and great value. Similarly the dessert. And proper coffee in proper cups... More

I found this place whilst delivering a yacht to the nearby marina at Mountbatten with a friend. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel so welcome by the landlord and his Daughter. The decor is quite quirky but it just feels right. On the first night we ordered our meal and asked for a side of... More

Ate here for my birthday on the 21/04 2017 following all the rave reviews and was not disappointed. They catered for our party of 23 with efficency I have rarely seen whilst dining in a large group. The food was great with not a single complaint and the staff friendly and welcoming. I will be making a point of eating... More

Love the Clovelly Bay Inn. We went last night for my sons birthday. The food is always fab, portions are large and the service great. I do think they might just have hiked their prices a little since our last visit, but as we all loved the food it's not really an issue. I had the veggie chilli and it... More

The portion sizes are large. Good quality food but food and bar prices are expensive. This would stop me returning. Staff are very welcoming.

All I can see is positive reviews and a busy restaurant but I'm not sure why. The menu is very very out dated but charging top money by todays standards. For the money being charged I was expecting a little more in quality in every aspect but it wasnt there. Overall, just not what I expected from a pub In... More

Friendly, amazing food, great service, what more could you want. A proper pub. I have eaten here 4 times and always been treated to home cooked food of the highest quality. Make sure you book as all the tables seem to be reserved.
