From the staff to the food, this restaurant cannot be faulted. Staff had a great knowledge of their delicious wine selection and treated us like royalty. The meal was outstanding, with three of us all having different choices for every course, there was no weak link in the menu. Cannot wait to visit this amazing restaurant again.

The parsnip and Parmesan is by far my favourite and I don't usually like parsnip. Lovely little place, we didn't... More

We went to The Chancel to celebrate our son's 30th birthday. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was excellent and the food was delicious, (we all had swordfish). We really appreciated the Happy Birthday banner on the wall and card on the table for our son. With his girlfriend and two brothers unable to join us due to work commitments... More

Sorry it has taken so long to put this review on - but better late than never! I had a fab meal, especially as I had only recently been diagnosed as coeliac and was so pleased to find lots of gluten free options - including the best bread I have ever tasted.
