Having not visited for about a year, decided to go again in mid March. . This really is an excellent restaurant slightly hidden away in the Plymouth gin building in the Barbican. The meet and greet was warm and genuine, our table was ready. the menues were spotless and clearly presented. Unusually we both chose the same from the special... More

The manager Nathan and staff were very polite and easy to book a large table through. They put us in the private room at the back which was super and would recommend to any party. However when making the reservation ages before the evening, I was assured we could have pre drinks in the gin bar before hand. Only to... More

We had not visited here for a while but were delighted to see that the quality and value is as good as ever. Three courses for £16.95 is amazing value. All three courses that we had were very well presented, extremely tasty and left you feeling just right - with a little room for another helping. Service was quick and... More

I went here for a romantic dinner with my partner. The homemade bread was awesome, the cocktails lovely and the chicken perfectly cooked. This isn't some Michelin star place but for a fancy meal at a good price it's perfect. I still felt very spoilt and only spent £50 for two courses for two and drinks!

I booked some week prior to eating here at the Barbican Kitchen on Wednesday 1st March. When I booked I happened to mention that it was my wife's special birthday . We ate a three course meal from their early set menu which is available up until 1930hrs. We commenced with pear and Stilton salad lightly dressed in sweet balsamic-... More
