Visited mid September on a sunny day. What a simply wonderful setting for a cream tea, exquisitely English! The cream tea was not overly expensive and did not disappoint.

Called in for a cream tea when visiting the nearby Cockington Court. The setting is spectacular and there was a pianist playing light music in the garden. However, the cream tea was nothing special and they only had plain or cheese scones.

When ordering a cream tea with salmon and cucumber sandwiches, the staff didn't know that it was on the menu ! A pity because it's such a wonderful place to sit and take in the countryside.
