An apparently “new bouncer” hit my 49 year old mum in the ribs leaving a large bruise and got extremely personal eg. “Your mum is scum”. Disgusted at the treatment we received, do not go to this horrendous club.
I know it says Bar and Club on the door, But it serves food and markets itself as one of the fancier places to grab some food and a drink.
We weren’t greeted at the door and were left to stand there awkwardly. We had...to ask for cutlery for our food and the pizzas were to the same standard as Wetherspoons pizza but costing double.
There was awful club music blasting way too loud, it was just a very confusing place to eat. If they just sold drinks it would be okay I guess but I definitely wouldn’t ever recommend eating here. Ever.
Was a real shame and not how we’d hoped for our evening to end.More
Fantastic evening! Amazing cocktails and pizza. Staff were friendly and felt very safe with secirty staff. Brilliant night on the terrace front people watching with heaters so was fab.
Lovely evening for a group of people. Communication was great running up to the booking too.
Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. The cocktails were excellent and great value for money at 2 for £12! If we'd found it earlier in our stay, we'd have definitely gone back.
I just want to get straight that we didn’t eat here so this is purely from an impromptu drop in for cocktails.
We looked over the cocktail menu which wasn’t too extensive which I like. I love things with lemon and spotted lemon meringue cocktail....So ordered one of those. The guy behind the bar seemed very quiet almost shy. He disappeared then came back saying he had ran out of the ingredients. Now this is approx 6.45 on a Saturday night. Hmmmmm. So I ordered something else and so did the other 4. In total we ordered 6 cocktails. 40 minutes later we were able to sit down with our cocktails. Hmmmmm. There were no beer mats and the condensation from the glasses was making the table wet and the glass was slipping so we asked for a mat or something. Apparently they don’t have mats so we were given a green and white tea towel (see piccy). Hmmmm. This is a real shame because the place looks chic, clean and inviting. Probably won’t go back.More
You got to love Park Lane they have got a lot of class. The drinks and service is number ONE in Torquay. Now the new menu looks and tastes great just good quality items with the best produce. If you want a cheap meal there...are lots of chain pubs in the area but if you want a touch of class Park Lane is the place to eat and drink. Thanks for a lovely lunch the burger was amazing. 🍽😃👍🍷🍸🍾More
