Really lovely meal at The Larder House a couple of weeks ago. It's certainly a hipster place but I have no issue with that as the food was so delicious and the waiter very friendly. I had the duck and chorizo pasty with creamed lentils...More

My partner and I met friends here just for drinks. The customer service was fantastic. The staff find you a table and come and check regularly that you are ok. They even recommend cocktails if you are unsure what to have. We loved it so...More

First choice had all gone but still plenty to choose from and extra alternatives added. Food cooked to perfection. Staff were helpful, cheerful and attentive. Unfortunately it is too far away to go to regularly but would certainly go again when back in the area

We have visited The Larder House a few times before for dinner and lunch and always had a great time with beautiful food - especially loving the platters of delicious cheeses! Today we thought we'd try out their Sunday Roasts and we're so glad we...More

This restaurant has an interesting "larder" theme. The ambience is attractive and the staff most friendly. The food is of a very high standard, though my wife did have to send back her dauphinoise potatoes as they were not fully cooked. Nevertheless our dishes of...More

The food was fabulous - we had the charcuterie board to share as a starter, then we both had the crispy lamb shanks (delicious!!, highly recommend). We then shared the cheese board to finish. It was all delicious. We had a wonderful bottle of wine...More

A meal for two, starters, main course ( steak for two 60 pounds), sweet and a couple of diet cokes total cost 100 pounds. The food was fine taste wise, no complaints there, but I would of liked a bigger portion of Dauphines potatoes, and...More

We came on bank holiday Monday and had a cracking time! (Pardon the pun) the seafood was delicious - but the service was slow due to supply and demand - but it made no difference to us, it was worth the wait! The staff are...More

We do accept Dogs in the covered & heated courtyard garden & in the Cocktail Library. Not in the main restaurant.

I can't imagine so. Never heard of a restaurant lending tennis racquets! Why would they?

Description
BREATHING NEW LIFE IN TO DORSET’S FOOD AND DRINK SCENE
Founder James Fowler (2014 World Class UK Bartender of the year) and his highly skilled & dedicated team are breathing a refreshing and much needed, new life into East Dorset’s food and drink scene. Infused with traditions of bygone eras and through continuous researching into the greatest foods from around the U.K & Europe, The Larder House is rapidly winning the hearts of the countries foodie elite and local residents.

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE & ATMOSPHERE LIKE NO OTHER.
The wood fired oven is at the core of the restaurant & bar, but what’s most inspiring is the seamless synergy between the kitchen and front of house.
The enthusiasm is abundant and the research that goes into their offering is intriguing. This ensures that everything you order has a story to tell, be it their range of unordinary back bar spirits or the range of charcuterie & cheeses that they showcase.
