The biggest one overlooking the Bournmouth beach which has a takeaway section. The food is quite good and tasty and the one in Swanage was also quite nice.

Excellent fish and chips (I had Scampi), and although it was a chilly day, there is masses of space inside to sit and look at the sea and the beach. Very welcoming staff and all very good value.

Although having visited Bournemouth several times we have never visited this branch so were delighted when we chose it for a saturday evening meal. Upstairs wasn't too busy and we got a window seat so enjoyed the view towards the Pier. Wine, amazing bargain price,...More

We sat outside overlooking the pier and ordered 2 large cod and chips and a side of fish bites. The staff were lovely, the food came out fairly promptly. Only slight negative was the food went cold very quickly, but I am blaming that on...More

I had hoped that Ramsden's overhyped, underwhelming chips might have improved since our visit three years ago. They haven't.

Everything was great. The food, the ambiance, the staff, the location. Went two days in a row. Kids loved it.

Stopped at a roadside station for gas & lunch. Ordered the fish & chips, of course. A whopper platter appeared covered in chips topped worh a fush filet the length of the platter! Wow. Tasty & filling! A great value meal.

We always have lunch here when we visit Bournemouth and did so today. It was quite showery today so the take-away was quiet and we didn't have to queue - first time ever! Reasonably priced and good quality compared to some places. Probably not as...More

I wanted to leave a Trip Advisor report on Harry Ramsdens Fish & Chips at the Welcome Break Services on the M40 near Oxford, but it does not seem to be listed on the Trip Advisor drop-down listings of the many other Ramsden outlets. Can you please advise?

Do you have any plans to train your waiters to get the orders right and to clear plates away after the main course before serving desserts? Do you also intend to train the staff not to ignore customers? Finally, do you intend to train your managers on how to deal with valid complaints without threatening to call the police?

Harry Ramsden's serve the same great quality fish and chips today that they have been since 1928. The brand was established 80 years ago, when Harry Ramsden opened his first takeaway store in a hut in Guiseley. His top-quality fish and chips brought people from near and far and it wasn't long before Harry's became the most famous fish and chip shop brand in the world. The fish is freshly prepared in Harry's kitchens daily and has that distinctive flavour revered the world over. The menu includes the world-famous battered fish with its closely guarded secret recipe, as well as an extensive choice of mouth-watering options and a fantastic children's menu, to satisfy all the family. There are 8 Harry's restaurants across the United Kingdom, from seaside locations such as Blackpool and Bournemouth to city centre restaurants in Southampton and Glasgow, so you're never far from a Harry's.
