This may be the furthest tea shop from the car park in Alfriston but it's definitely worth the extra few minutes! Welcomed by the owner with open arms and a genuine warming smile, we knew we had made the right choice! I regularly go out...More

Small, friendly café. We dropped in near the end of the day but they still had a good selection of homemade cakes and very fresh scones. They also do a selection of gluten, dairy, and egg free cakes. Excellent value for money too.

Great value, good choice of menu, yummy savoury scones. Cosy and eclectic atmosphere with quirky 60s soundtrack and table games and things to do. Really enjoyed lunch with daughter and would definitely revisit when next in Alfriston.

A lovely quaint tea room. Very old fashioned and all the better for it. Great service and high quality food. The guy serving us said his mum had made the bread and used a recipe of her mum's from Wexford. That is a family restaurant.

We really enjoyed the welcome of Mary and Malcolm there in Alfriston for an afternoon tea. Scones, delicious cakes and sandwiches are home-made. What a lovely place with books everywhere, very friendly with the children.

Stopped for lunch on a cold foggy walk. Made welcome by pleasant couple. The soup was delicious, hot and homemade, served with light savoury scones. Very good value for money in this expensive village.
