We had the hot seafood platter - the bass, calamaris and the mussels were delicious - the rest was a bit disappointing (overcooked monkfish curry). Wine (Chilean Chardonnay) and staff were excellent though. We would go back for the mussels... And if they change the...More

The meal was delicious and there was no pressure for us to leave even though it was way passed their closing time. The set menu was very nice indeed and only £15 - highly recommended. The wine is very reasonably priced.

The food here is great, but you really pay for it. Some of the staff are also terribly snooty and cold. This doesn't put off the greedy delegates at TUC or Labour conferences in Brighton...it's a joke in the city to see them every year,...More

Anyone who writes a bad review about this place simply doesn't get it and these sort of people who think they are in nice surroundings when drinking poor coffee in a costa should not waste anyone's time and walk on by to pizza express... Words...More

We don't think it does - or at least if it does then it is v quiet as we have the same problem with music! Hope that helps.
