Went for a road trip from London and ended up at the Shakespear's Head. Had one of the best Sunday roasts I've had in a long time! Food came quickly and was just the right portion. They were more than happy to let our two small dogs sit with us inside at the table, and they were nice enough to... More

Excellent Sunday roast with family. Be sure to book ahead, and make your selection in advance. Pork belly was excellent and not too fatty. Roast potatoes were good, but crisped up in the deep frier. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Good drinks selection. Excellent veggies, and delicious gravy. Does what it does well. Could not take card payments owing... More

I really loved the roast here. Good portions and nice food!! Try to book a place because it's quite known and therefore busy!

Ignore the décor. Sunday roast is one of the best I've had - nearly as good as home cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Huge selection of bangers, with even gluten free and vegetarian options. It has a nice and cozy atmosphere, and the staff was nice and helpful at all times. The place may be a bit small but still the food makes it worth it!

One of the best I have had. The pork belly crackling was a bit strange though but the food was amazing. Pork was cooked in apple and the veg and potatoes were really well cooked. Would come again

Cool atmosphere, excellent roasts and lovely staff. My only gripe is the place needs the lighting turned up a fraction. Be sure to pre order your roast to avoid disappointment!

I'm sure the barman / manager with the great dreadlocks won't be surprised about this review and I even feel he won't care such was his attitude. A group of us had a late lunch here , 3pm table booked . So we were ordering about 3.15pm . The pub was busy and because of the choice of furniture and... More

Love love love the food menu, if you love a good sasuage and mash, you cannot go wrong! Bloody Mary's are decorated beautifully, even though it did taste quite sweet for a strange reason, but good all the same. Such a cute little pub. Would visit again and highly recommend
