We try to avoid chain restaurants, but we were not disappointed by our lunch at Bella Pasta. Lovely service and great food. Waiter was really accommodating, food was served promptly but meal wasn't rush. We used the group on deal for 2 courses for £18. My husband enjoyed his pizza, me the king prawn risotto, with meatball starter and cookie... More

By far one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Salvatore our waiter provided great customer service and gave us feedback on the dishes from the menu. He was very attentive and overall excellent service. The food was delicious and came out on a timely manner. Great restaurant definitely would come back.

Came here for a spot of lunch today. Perfect location sat in the sun. Food was reasonable. Good selection of wine and beer. Reason for the 1 less star is because service wasn't 100%.

Good food, wine and a happy and friendly staff, near to the beach and centre of the Old Town. Well worth a visit and the steak is tremendous.

We had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening when it wasn't too busy. The staff were all friendly, especially Bebe who was veyr friendly and efficient. We both enjoyed our shared pizza bread and pasta dishes' Shame that the ladies toilets weren't to a very good standard.

Went with my partner. Dough of our pizza was so hard and cold I couldn't cut it with the cutter they gave me without rolling over it 20+ times. Second thing, every time someone opened the toilet door, with thanks to the blowing wind from the front door, the smell of the toilet wafted around the restaurant whilst we were... More

Had lunch in here this week, we were busy and as this is a chain it should be at least reasonable. Restaurant not busy, 8 sat down when we arrived. A bit of a wait to get drinks and then to order food. Couple sat near us were totally ignored and walked out. Empty tables not cleared. Our starter dishes... More

We used to visit this restaurant a lot some 10 years ago when we lived locally. Our experience today was very poor indeed. On a plus side the service was good and the people who work there are attentive, friendly and want to help. But the food and wine were very poor quality. We would not recommend this restaurant.

Bella Italia Brighton couldn't ask for a better location within the vibrant southern seaside city. Situated in the charming area known as The Lanes, with its numerous antique shops and jewellers, Bella Italia offers both locals and visitors great Italian grub at accessible prices. Tuck into starters such as the mushrooms baked in mascarpone, spinach and garlic sauce with ciabatta followed by a 7oz sirloin steak with garlic butter, mushrooms, fried and rocket accompanied by a sauce of your choice. Round off with a classic banoffee pie with sprinkled amaretti biscuits and zabaglione cream. All this accompanied by a traditional Italian Peroni beer or a glass of Chianti. If you're looking for a good value Italian restaurant in Brighton, Bella Italia certainly fits the bill. Every last Friday of every month, from 9.30 pm till late we do live acoustic music, free entry plus 2for1 cocktails from 5 pm on the day. We do recommend that you book in advance as we are getting very busy on these nights.
