We booked in advance which at weekend is essential in this popular little restaurant. We chose a good selection of tapas from the menu and the specials board. They were all delicious. We particularly enjoyed the albondigas and the espinacas con garbanzos. The gambas a la plancha were also highly recommended. The wines are well chosen and reasonably priced. I... More

Consistently good. We have been to many Spanish restaurants in London and Andalucía, and although the décor is dated (like so much of Brighton), the Tapas is very good. Lovely prawns in oil & garlic, delicious aubergine, and great service.

There are few words to explain the joy of a table spilling with tapas... but trust me, order a few types each here & share... for me, it's the best food I have eaten in ages, go... order a bottle of wine, take the waiters recommendation.. oh and take mine, order the flamed goats cheese.. you won't regret it!

Had a great meal tonight, probably the best tapas in Brighton! We particularly liked the aubergines.

Managed to book table late in the day, thank goodness we booked as it turn d out to be the b st dining experience we have had in a while. The restaurant itself is quite rustic, but if you look ok it for authentic Spanish dining, then this is your place. Our waitress Paloma was fantastic, made us feel hugely... More

We enjoyed the the tapas at this restaurant the portions were large and all of the dishes we ordered were very good. It was also quite quiet, we chose this restaurant after we were turned away from another nearby tapas restaurant because it was full.

First of all, we been a regular customers for past 3 years and always enjoyed a food as it was tasty and fresh. Unfortunately today it was a bad experience and it was the worth £50 spend ever.. We ordered our favorite Harmon broad wan stew and it was off (grey soggy color, not as usual green) and tasted very... More

We went quite early (right after it opened for the evening!) so the restaurant was quite empty, but even so the staff were very friendly and fun to talk to. The food arrived with perfect timing, we weren't left waiting (mind you we are quite patient). My partner and I both worked in Spanish restaurants so we know what Spanish... More

Description
Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and daytrippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. Inside you'll find a simple dining room with polished wooden floors, cream walls and red and yellow accents, and the restaurant has a homely, chilled vibe. We love the presa Iberian pork pan-fried with garlic and bay leaves and served with potatoes; and the patatas mojopicon - deep-fried potatoes with a cumin, garlic and tomato salsa.
