We visited on a Monday night and by the time we left the restaurant was virtually full such is the pull of Brighton. The menu was fairly typical Tapas fare, we enjoyed the majority of our meal and there is the benefit of being allowed to take your own wine and pay corkage which allowed us to take a better... More

Dear WineHighlander Thank you for your comments. In terms of the notes you wrote about the wine sales in a restaurant, I believe that every business selling any item or service must charge anything in a region of 70% in order to keep the business accounts in balance and allow for some level of profit or opening a business becomes... Once again I visited with my son for a birthday dinner. We were treated to amazing food as always with the staff even creating a dish especially for my 5 year old so he was able to enjoy dinner with us ( he can be a little fussy at times). As always we were welcomed with the best greeting and... More

Fantastic food, highly recommended. Highlights included the paella and the chorizo. Could not fault any of our meal. Very satisfied customers!

Waited too long for our drinks to arrive. Staff also forgot a couple of our tapas dishes The food was however excellent and worth putting up with the service issues for I went on the Sunday of a bank holiday early in the evening at a time when perhaps they weren't expecting to be busy Prices were fair. Nice decor.... More

This is a MUST VISIT restaurant for anyone who happens to find themselves lucky enough to spend some quality time in the great city of Brighton. I visited this place twice even though I was only there for 2 nights, and I just regret I did not go back for lunch before leaving on Sunday afternoon (I was rushing to... More

We all particularly liked the black pudding, the Pollo & Spanish omelette. The house red was very decent... More

We were visiting close family In Haywards Heath and having a day out in Brighton. We had an excellent dinner with around 2-3 tapas each plus bread and salad. The tapas arrived two by two and built up to cover the table. Can't remember the names of all the tapas but in particular we all loved the potato dishes (the... More

I took my partner here for his birthday and had the most amazing evening. We were treated like family, with the manager Mattia straight away making us welcome and suggesting his favourites off the menu. We were seated by a lovely smiling hostess who was attentive but didn't hover. My partner is pescitarian and there was a massive selection of... More

A friend of mine was visiting Brighton from Thailand and it was his last night before he returned to Asia. We booked a table for 16 people (or thereabouts) before hand and my friend placed a small deposit to reserve the table as it was such a large group. We arrived a little later than anticipated but the staff were... More

Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and day-trippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates.
The restaurant has homely, um-pretentious and informal, with a very chilled vibe and the service is friendly.
Strongly recommended are the Paellas and Rice dishes of which they are absolute specialists.
Pop in for a glass of Sherry from their extensive selection, have it with a little tapa, or for a Schooner of the best Spanish beer imported in to the UK.
Another feature worth mentioning is their menu which can be entirely prepared in a CELIAC friendly way. Gluten-free beers are also available and their gluten-free bread is baked in house by the Head Chef.
