Visited as a surprise for my partner, have had great experiences before and wasn’t disappointed! Great customer experience, lovey atmosphere, with very friendly and helpful staff! The mixed starter was really tasty, as was the Phad Thai, and Massamam curry, just right!

My friend and I got a deliveroo from here. We got rice, tofu green curry, tofu massaman curry, veg wraps and the veg starters for 2. Most of this was inedible. The wraps were mostly huge chunks of celery and an insanely tiny portion. The...More

My friends and I just ordered a takeaway from Sabai Thai for a Saturday evening get together. The flavour of the curries (Massaman Beef & Chicken Red Curry) were fantastic, they were really delicious. However, there was very little meat in either curry and the...More

Loved the food I ordered. We were a table of 11, and some of the food wasn't quite up to scratch and it took quite a while to arrive. Attentive staff though, and a cute little restaurant - maybe for smaller groups best.

After testing six of the top ranked (in Tripadvisor)Thai restaurants in Brighton, no doubt, Sabai is the best! Giggling Squid is good but the over-all experience in Sabai is better. It’s a “must” for any Thai-food-lover passing Brighton - or Sussex

Description
Sabai show's tremendous consistency having won a certificate of excellence award for the last 4 years running. The Thai word Sabai translates simply as relaxed, the perfect description of this Brighton gastrobar where the urban cool of London on Sea is matched to the ethnic charm of the Land of Smiles. Bringing a taste of Phuket's beach bars and Bangkok's most upmarket restaurants to the UK, Sabai is all about chilling out, South East Asian style a fact which is patently clear from the silk floor cushions, cocktail menu and warm, smiling welcome. The deep red and dark wood, gold and green interior is as beautiful as Sabai's freshly cooked, authentic food, MSG free and made using local ingredients where possible and imported Thai herbs and spices where essential. Because everything is made to order, special requests are welcomed.
