The amount I spent you could get a train to London and have tea at the Ritz. However in the Ritz you will not be stuffed in a small dirty messy room with dead flowers. Staff are friendly but the speed is very slow so...More

Hi, I will have to apologise for the tired looking flowers, our staff totally forgot to change them which I admit was an oversight that should not have happened. However to say our Afternoon Tea is a rip off is totally unjust. We have many...More

I ended up here looking for something gluten free and a large gin and tonic after a very tough day ... I was looked after and provided a selection of gluten free treats to fill me up. Qwerky, great staff and relaxing place

We returned to this lovely tea room for a second trip after having a lovely time there previously. Unfortunately due to poor level of service by the lady that served us we doubt we will return a third time. We had a booking and were...More

Just home from a lovely couple of hours drinking amazing tea and eating very tasty food. If you've not tried metrodeco, go as soon as you can! We had the savoury tea, so less cake, but we didn't miss the sweetness. 4 different open style...More

Aah, thank you for your comments. We use a local butcher for the scotch eggs and porkpies and our scones and brownies are made by local bakers. Hope to see you soon.

I sent my parents here for my mother's 70th birthday, they said they had a fantastic time. Excellent service and a fantastic table by the window. Afternoon tea was delicious and even had some birthday candles in her cakes. Made her birthday she said. Would...More

Delectable loose leaf earl grey and humble staff. China cups and floral saucers. Go and have a tea party!

We visited here for a gin afternoon tea (a christmas gift). We had booked a table which was just as well because even on a dreary Monday afternoon in February there was a steady stream of customers. The afternoon tea was excellent and our waitresses...More

Went for scones and tea to this lovely cafe in Kemptown. The cafe was decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture and artefacts which lent a unique charm to the place. Relaxed atmosphere and good service. We had tea and scones which were delicious. A...More

When we first arrived no seats available which can’t be helped but after a few minutes seated. The cafe is dog friendly, and was very calm when a dog got nervous and barked. Nice deco, gluten free options, nice place x

They are very helpful and quite inventive , so i'm fairly certain they would be able to help you . Whoever it was for should still have to book a table in advance

A lively tea room that also serves wine and beers. We serve breakfast and lunch but are known for our Afternoon tea and tea cocktails. If you have a dog then bring them along as we are dog friendly too. For something a little bit different and for a little treat then come and see us- you won't believe the size of our cakes.
