Oh god, the food here is so good. If I worked in the lanes I would spend a fortune eating here every day because they rotate the food on offer so often. I'm not veggie but love it when the tastiest food turns out to...More

Excellent food for vegan and colieac. Two meat eaters in party but didn't miss meat at all. Friendly staff and great value.

Have eaten here a number of times and tried something different each time and it's all good. The portions are generous, tasty and interesting.

Situated in the Northern Laine area of Brighton, Iydea is a great place for a vegetarian lunch. It can get very busy but if you wait around for a short time then a table becomes free. Alternatively you can take the delicious food away.

I recently visited this cafe and had a veggie breakfast muffin. It was nice and the service was good, but a little dissapointing. However the staff are very accommodating, making a vanilla milkshake for my four year old son who was very demanding, isn't something...More

Seriously amazing wedges so definitely recommend them to anyone! Also had a lovely smoothie. Very overpriced but I guess that's Brighton food... Perfect for vegetarians. It does what it says on the tin!

It can get a little busy. I went for lunch and was happy with my selection. I figure the available choices vary from day to day depending on what is cooked. All vegetarian selection. I thought the sit-down price was a little expensive, but I...More

I go here a lot for lunch. The food overall is good. Sometimes the salads can be hit and miss but I suppose it's what you prefer. The one itch I have though is that in a lot of the salads they love to put...More

A must-go in Brighton. The food is fresh and very well spiced. The freshly made drinks are delicious, too. Even though I am normally not a vegetarian I always find something tasty. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Only the limited space inside...More

Overpriced, poor service (waited 10min for two drinks!) and charged and served wrong items. Laughable really!

Sorry - same answer, you need to ask the restaurant directly. Again I have never seen any 'reserved' tables when I was there.

Hi, iydea is small and can get rather busy / quite noisy from midday. You are welcome to to try, may I recommend you get a seat at the back as they are quieter. Seb

Description
Iydea is a small and very busy express vegetarian canteen right in the heart of Brighton's North Laine area. All the food is freshly made and is on display so you can choose only what you want to go on your plate or to take away. There is an extensive breakfast menu from 9:30 every morning which changes to the lunch menu at 11:30 (12:00 Sundays). Iydea does get very busy and cramped so best to avoid peak times if you want a little more space and comfort.
