Ideal when hungry and need food immediately as you point to stuff they have ready and get it on a plate with extra toppings, etc. Always very tasty.

Visited here September 2015. I'm not a veggie, but I will happily eat veggie foods! I chose the Lasagna and veg which was really something special. Very tasty. Drinks are quite expensive unfortunately. I would give a higher rating but the seating issue needs to...More

Been lots in past and it's always been good. Went in today and was disappointed by sticky floors and general lack of clean. But what really pissed me off was staff calling me sweetie and my love. Don't patronise the customers!!!!

I've had breakfast twice here and both times it was light, fresh and served with lots of smiles. Good value for money too. Just wonder what it will be like in the winter as it was a tad chilly on an autumn morning.

My partner and I visited for lunch on a Thursday with our baby. The food was very tasty, the portions generous and the offer interesting and varied, for both food and drink. My partner said it was the best vegetarian meal he'd ever had. The...More

I went for the first time with my young granddaughter on my son's recommendation and what a treat it was. Lovely choice of food and even my 28 month granddaughter ate all the food on her plate. Tasty, wholesome healthy food. Highly recommended. I should...More

I used to be a regular in this restaurant because it served unusual and great vegetarian food at a reasonable price. Then I went in there one day just for a couple of coffees with a friend. Admittedly, it was at lunchtime and people were...More

Wondering the Lanes there are plenty eateries and generic chains but somehow I picked this one by sheer luck. Delicious choice of mains, with two sides for 9 ponds which is a bargain for fresh and imaginative vegetarian food. Had a pine nut, blue cheese...More

Sorry - same answer, you need to ask the restaurant directly. Again I have never seen any 'reserved' tables when I was there.

Hi, iydea is small and can get rather busy / quite noisy from midday. You are welcome to to try, may I recommend you get a seat at the back as they are quieter. Seb

Description
iydea is a small and very busy express vegetarian / vegan canteen right in the heart of Brighton's North Laine area. All the food is freshly made and is on display so you can choose only what you want to go on your plate or to take away. There is an extensive breakfast menu from 9:30 every morning which changes to the lunch menu at 11:30 (12:00 Sundays). They also do a large selection of drinks including all freshly made smoothies, juices and local roasted coffee. iydea can get very busy at peak times so best to avoid these if you want a little more space and comfort.
