I ve been to this restaurant several times and the standard of food remains high. Bar staff are superb at cocktails. Last time I had an expresso martini which was very good. This visit I had a Puritan - Delicious.

Cool joint, Friendly/joyful staff, REALLY yummy food + local bubbles = 5/5! We stuck to the specials board but it was no problem when we asked for a few tweaks. Such a good night!

Well worth a visit if you are in Brighton. Thoroughly enjoyed the food (scallops to start, followed by steak for main - both were delicious) but the evening was let down by the service we received. As an example, it took at least 15 minutes...More

Been several times. Being resident here, my partner and I eat around Brighton a lot. This is the 'go to' place to take friends to showcase Brighton's cuisine and service at its best.

Description
Independent bar à vin, restaurant & cocktail bar based in The Lanes, Brighton. We are a unique bar à vin & restaurant with a passion for great food & wine. We have put a great deal of time & love into selecting our wines. At Plateau you can discover interesting & affordable wines that you are unlikely to see on other local wine lists. Our selection is mostly natural with some biodynamic & organic examples. We have sourced wines from local Sussex producers to renowned names & newcomers. To soak up the wine we serve ‘bites’, small dishes perfect to share or great as a starter. Follow your ‘bites’ with a ‘plateau’ to share or a 'plat' & that’s our dinner experience… although don’t forget dessert! Our chefs source organic, fresh, local produce as much as possible.Did we mention the cocktails?
