There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from in Brighton but every time we visit, we have to come to this place. It never disappoints. The tapas is delicious - I'm certain you wouldn't find better in Spain, and the staff are delightful. We had the set tapas menu for 3 plus a couple of extra dishes and everything was... More

Excellent dinner. Lovely, fresh tapas. Very authentic. Third visit. Will be back. Must book. Lamb stew, spinach and chickpeas and chorizo in sherry highly recommended

Having used Casa Don Carlos before numerous times and not being able to get a table, thought we'd give here a go. Firstly they didn't have my table reservation. Luckily it wasn't busy Secondly don't go here with a bad back (as I have) eating dinner on low hard stools nearly killed me. Now to the food. Really no complaints.... More

Visited here late December for a Christmas night out. First time eating here based on recommendations from friends. Very small and intimate restaurant so I'd say good for couples etc but not for big groups or anything over 4 people! Fantastic selection of tapas available and only wish I could have tried everything on the menu! Will have to return... More

I went with a group of friends and the food was good. It was good to have tortilla that didn't verge on the consistency of rubber. The albondigas were very soft and the cava perfectly pleasant. I'm not a big fan of deep fried calamari and sadly these met my (low) expectations. There was nothing wrong with the meal, it... More

Been here several times before and has always been good food and vibe - but this evening was awful food wise. Four of the dishes just tasted of salt especially the garlic prawns. We were hungry so ate most of it but did mention it to the waitress who wasn't interested in our feedback. As I paid I mentioned it... More

Great food and super service. 4 of us came here for lunch Sunday and had a superb selection of tapas. Having lived for a few years on Spain I am always disappointed by the general lack of authenticity in Spanish restaurants, but not here! All the food and wine were delicious service great and we capped it off with cafe... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience in Solera. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and are working hard to keep up the quality of our service. As far as the authenticity is concerned you are right: 100% Spanish staff and owner and most of our products (wine and food) directly imported from Spain...... More

What a lucky find. The food is well priced and tastes authentic. We had 5 dishes between 3 of us and with breads and olives it was too much for us. Looking forward to returning

I have visited this restaurant twice. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I tried lunch there and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The sangria is very good, I highly recommend it. This restaurant reminds me of those small restaurants in Spain where you can have a bite to eat, I am wondering if... More
