We had dinner at The Cricketers this evening, the pub chosen mainly due to its proximity to our hotel on a chilly evening. To our surprise the food was first class, and the service provided by Richard equalled it. The ham hock accompanied by a crispy boiled egg is not to be missed!

Carpet a bit sticky, but has a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Always visit this place when in Brighton.

We came across this place whilst looking round the area for dinner options and went here for dinner before a show in town and were very pleased that we did. The pub itself was quite busy despite being quite early in the evening, it was very hot too, so we carried on into the old courtyard beside the main building... More

Nice location, not enough out door seating but can always get a space to stand outside and have a drink whilst looking at the sea. Never eaten here but staff are friendly enough.

The food was gorgeous and quick, but the tap water was absolutely disgusting. Seriously, nobody could drink it. Never order tap water from there. Other than that, brilliant!

Me and my wife visited Brighton in October and found this lovely pub. Excellent range of Ales. Lovely place to unwind and find your legs to look round the Lanes Shopping Shops

Called in for a pint and had bar snacks which were both excellent as were the staff, this a historic pub with lots of character but the upholstery could do with an upgrade as it's very well used. I would certainly return as the sausage roll is more like meat loaf in pastry. A great afternoon.

I ordered only two drinks: a pint of London Pride and a glass of red wine and they charged me £12. It was around 7 pm. I was stunned. What a rip off! Nice pub but exorbitant prices. Steer clear!
