My mum and I popped out for a drink and a bite to eat for breakfast. We had been meaning to try the coach house as it's a local business and always seems busy. We were very disappointed with what we found. The staff were not interested, we were sat out the back and forgotten. The soft drinks we ordered... More

Came here for afternoon tea. The ladies who own it are lovely. Food was really nice, lovely sandwiches, scones and cakes, but there was a bit too much of it. If I was to criticise, I think everything could have been smaller in size! I couldn't eat it all and neither could my friend, so we ended up taking a... More

We had book afternoon tea with our groupon voucher, we were made very welcome, we had a choice of sandwiches and tea, the sandwiches were very good with excellent filling in thick brown bread. A great selection of cakes, large scones with jam and cream, you are challenged to eat all of this meal! Worth travelling miles for.

The cosy outdoor garden is what fist attracts one to this place.Once inside the menu is varied and of good European cuisine.Everything is freshly prepared and tasty. The service is rather slow but the staff is in good humour and polite. Pleasant homely atmosphere the space is arranged in such a way that you can hold a conversation.

Brilliant afternoon here. Had a belated birthday treat for my mum. The service was amazing. Very kind and friendly. Spoilt for choice. Very generous portions. All fresh and home made . Beautiful setting and the outside seating area will be amazing in the summer .

We had a sandwich and the most delightful hot chocolate. Our Golden Retriever was welcomed at the restaurant. Will come back for a breakfast! The rear garden area is bigger than you think and will be a delightful place to go for breakfast or coffee in the spring summer.

Just as you come into Brighton on the A23 you and stop here for a meal - there is usually a free parking space nearby. Breakfast can be meaty with 'real' sausages and bacon or vegetarian. Lunch has daily specials but my favourite is the massive ploughman's lunch. Home made cakes for afternoon tea. Beautiful old building and garden if... More
