Such a nice place to find. Had breakfast here and it was just lovely. Perfect start to a busy day exploring. Would certainly visit again if in Brighten again for sure. Cute decor and lovely waitresses.

Delightfully quaint, charming but decidedly delicious pit-stop away from the pressure of high energy Brighton; good food, wonderful choice of teas and coffees and lovely staff; recommended

Mostly packed, and lives up to the fame. Everything in the high tea was amazing, and the environment was elegant and cute, generally made me happy to be there.

Stopped here for a cream tea and it was really lovely. Old fashioned tea room with lovey staff and excellent service. Also, the scone, cream and jam was all great - top quality and not too expensive. If we return to Brighton we will visit...More

Beautifully decorated and appointed tea room. Had a great cream tea, service was brilliant except after we received our bill, all staff disappeared! Lovely little spot, though.

The service is lovely and the food delicious. I really liked my choice (scones with cream and jam). My friend ordered eggs benedict and it was also good. I definitely recommend this place. The only bad point is the fact that the tables are very...More

Tried twice to get into the tearooms for afternoon tea, but fully occupied. Eventually managed coffee mid morning with the downstairs tables quickly being filled. Great selection of teas and coffee's with orders taken at table. -a little surprised that no biscuits were on sale...More

Good on 'traditional looking tearoom', good on home made cakes, good on array of photos to take you back in time in Brighton. Quaint lavvy in the garden with wooden seat and pull chain mechanism, that worked. Not suitable for aged or disabled. Tea rooms...More

Description
Recently awarded the accolade of "Best Tea & Cakes in Brighton" (Brighton Source Magazine), Blackbird Tea Rooms with its quintessentially English traditional style, has become the favourite retreat of lovers of good old fashioned quality and service. In addition to our traditional tea and cakes we also have a wide selection great breakfast and lunch dishes (see website for menu). We are very busy all day both Saturday & Sunday and therefore are unable to take reservations for the weekends (sorry).
