Chanced upon the restaurant for an early family meal. Met by a charming Maître d and shown to a great table. Tables were surprisingly intimate for such a large room. Food was excellent, extensive menu and comprehensive gluten free options. Prices very reasonable for the quality. Service superb.

We go here often for breakfast on Sundays, and it's always consistent, in quality food, staff and value for money. The French toast is very good too. Lunch and evening set meals are very good too. Been to cotes in London, Chichester and Brighton. The food is always fresh and very tasty. I opt for the seafood which is amazing, the desserts are also a must. Chocolate fondant is the best I've had. Highly recommended.

Good choice for a special occasion. We were a large group and were given the "high table" upstairs. Restaurant was very busy, but despite that the service was attentive and prompt and friendly. Everyone enjoyed the starters and mains they had chosen. Mine looked like a boring fish pie, ie no side vegetables or garnish. So I ordered a side... More

Booked a table for Saturday lunch with family. Although we were on time and the staff were not busy we were kept waiting in the doorway (there were 6 of us) and it was cold. Eventually shown to a table upstairs which was OK to begin with but later on it transpired that all the large groups were shown upstairs... More

I love coming here, there's a good selection of food on the menu and the service is good! Came here for a catch up with friends one evening we all had starters and fillet steak which we didn't have to wait long for. The calamari was lovely and a big portion for a starter. My fillet steak was lovely and... More

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.
