Sunday carvery at the Camelford Arms is one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had in a long time eating out!. We had roast beef, it was a chunky sirloin steak, (none of those sorry thinly sliced helpings you get in most places where...More

I recently had the best Sunday roast lunch ever in Brighton at the Camelford Arms. It is a cosy pub off the main drag in Brighton. The bar staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere. Well done everyone there.

Called in for a drink and found it to be a real gem. They serve Sagres on tap (one of my favourites). The prices aren't too bad for drinks either. I would recommend a visit if in the area

The Pub is really cosy. Staff is absolutely friendly, quick and smart. We had the beef burger which was really great with a wonderful spicy sauce and crispy fries. Clearly worth a visit!

Having seen and heard many recommendations we went for lunch on a hot sunny day. So glad we did. This charming pub has a laidback atmosphere with both friendly staff and fellow customers. After a couple of cold drinks our friend opted for the cheese...More

Nice typical pub, 2 minutes away from the sea. Service was ok. Food: i would definitely recommend pies, as my steak and ale pie was amazing. Also got a club sandwich which was not equally great, and portion was really too large. 25 pounds for...More

I didn't book and found a table no problem, might have been lucky though! I would give them a call.

Sorry for the delay we only just saw your query. Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access and because of the nature of the property we are unable to renovate to include such access.

Description
Our pub has a simple approach - to be the sort of pub we would love to go to ourselves.

When we go to a pub we like a warm welcome, friendly staff, good food and fine ales / wine - so this is what we offer at The Camelford. This creates the right atmosphere from which natural friendliness takes over, and before you know it, you are chatting away with those at the next table.

Also a good pub should have dogs - and we are the most dog-friendly pub n town. Don't take our word for it - ask the pooches.

Our (award-winning) food is served noon-9pm Mon to Sat, and from noon till 6pm on Sundays (where our roasts are legendary). Booking is advisable, but not necessary.
