Came here for an afternoon snack. Got the vegetarian spring rolls which tasted amazing, however, the 'vegetable' yakisoba was so tasteless, cold and had no vegetables in it, apart from one slice of onion. Was disappointed. The service was ok. Maybe will try again.

Ordered a take out of chicken teriyaki from here on a lunch break in the summer. The food was atrocious. The meat was extremely rubbery & felt almost like plastic. I couldn't finish the food as it was that poor. It's always quite busy though so they're doing something right, somehow!

You usually have to wait outside to get in but the service is fairly fast. The food is good but always overly salty. The real kicker is that the place doesn't accept card and you have to pay which cash.

Good spot for for good Japanese fast food, can get busy during the lunch rush but efficient and friendly service

I've been to both Kokoros in brighton and i have to say i just love them both.. They're quick and easy and it's fast japanese food! whats better? I usually go for the Chicken katsu curry or the katsu sushi! it's so cheap for the massive portion you get. I've been to multiple japanese joints around brighton and this is... More

Went for lunch in the Brighton restaurant and my feet were sticking to the floor and then when we went to sit down upstairs, the surfaces were disgusting and sticky. The food I had was put in a microwave and was luke-warm and soggy. Went into the toilet and the toilet seat had come off and had been left in... More

I don't like microwaving food so I CERTAINLY don't expect to be eating it when I am paying to eat from a restaurant. I ordered a Teriyaki Salmon to takeaway with noodles. Noodled went into the tub and then were nuked for 60 seconds. Then the salmon went on. Went back to my office 2 minutes away to eat it.... More

Kokoro go through phases, portion sizes and quality of food flux throughout the year. While the food is tasty, it still has a hint of 'quick cuisine'. Having recently opened new larger premises in the town centre, the queues can often be a deterrent. Perfectly suited for a bit to eat on your lunch break or a quick fix, but... More
