Absolutely amazing, service and food the best in Brighton. We had seafood crab platter, fresh oysters, fillet steak, sea bass, amazing desserts. Best port in the house and fantastic cheeses. We have dined here before and plan to return on my daughters 40th birthday at her request.

Whilst staying at 'The Grand' we decided to 'eat in' on our first evening. Pretty ordinary I think. Food was only ok, my main fish course was overwhelmed by the spicy sauce the fish came with and the other courses were pretty uninspiring, nice staff...More

Very good crab starter, great Dover sole, as a fisherman I'd guess fish to be over a pound in weight, only criticism would be the oysters, very small, generally quite reasonably priced for location and I'd give it 8.5 out of 10!

One of Brighton's most glamorous culinary hotspots, GB1 is located within the iconic Grand Brighton. A conveniently short walk from Brighton Station and the city's famous shopping lanes and exceptionally located along Brighton's vibrant seafront. GB1 is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and offers the south coast's finest and freshest fish and seafood caught daily. A fantastic a la carte menu, specials from the blackboard and affordable set menus are available. Although fish and seafood dishes dominate the menu, seasonal meat and vegetarian dishes feature. The stunning central champagne and oyster bar seating 20, offers a more relaxed dining area in which to share a seafood platter and watch the expertly trained chefs prepare oysters and other fruit de mer. Whether you want a quick bite and a glass of wine, casual meal with friends or a celebratory feast, GB1 offers the perfect dining experience for all.
